Law practice mainly focused on international and local oil & gas, regulatory matters, and mining transactions. 

Worked in Doha as Senior Legal Counsel at Qatar Petroleum, one of the world’s leading oil and gas companies primarily dealing with joint ventures and advising on multi-billion-dollar contractual matters in upstream and downstream areas. 

Worked on Al-Shaheem field, the first Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project in Qatar.

Since 2009 led Resources Energy Consulting, an energy and natural resources consulting company with offices in Latin America.

From 2005 until 2009, worked for BG Group plc, one of the world’s largest suppliers of LNG. As Lead Counsel, was responsible for various E&P and commercial matters pertaining to BG’s upstream investments in Egypt.

Regular lecturer at various universities. Frequently publishes articles in specialized publications and periodicals.

Advice on various agreements on different development stages (CA, LoI, MoU, HoA, JV, EPC, and other services contracts) in the upstream and downstream sectors in Qatar and abroad. Interaction with current affiliates and partners (Qatargas, RasGas, ExxonMobil, Conoco Phillips, Mitsui, Itochu, Marubeni, Shell, Total, etc.) and international prospective joint venturers in the O&G field conducting business in the State of Qatar and abroad.
